The King and his very clever cat must find a new home after their castle burns down in an unfortunate incident with a dragon. They choose No. 37 Castle Close: an ordinary house in an ordinary street. It's very exciting learning to live a normal (if still quite royal) life. But danger looms when the pesky, fire-breathing dragon makes its return.
This book is really good and it’s good for 10 and over and it has loads of illustrations. It has been written it good detail. And it’s a tale about “the cat” and “the king” on the day to day life from living in a castle with servants to doing everything themselves and living in a house on “castle close”. Nick Sharrat should do more books like this. Well done to him. And at the end of the book it teaches you how to make the “royal shortbread” that are just like in the book!
